A few Working Group participants from A Clubhouse for Elkhart County
spent two days visiting Carriage House in January, 2010. Here are some
of the things about Carriage House that impressed them. Thanks to Leah

 One of the kitchens at Carriage House in Fort Wayne.  The snack bar and coffee shop at Carriage House, where you can still get a cup of coffee for a quarter.  The conference room in the ROK unit -- Carriage House. Clubhouse members gather here twice a day to discuss tasks at hand and plan who will do what. A large whiteboard on the wall (not visible in photo) lists what needs to be done on any given day. The Loft unit (upstairs) has an even larger conference room with several whiteboards.  Coffee Shop menu at Carriage House  The large commercial kitchen at Carriage House. It is used to prepare lunch every day for Carriage House members.   The Dining Room Menu at Carriage House. Yes, these are 2010 prices.  Chad's House sits behind the main building at Carriage House. It offers lodging for overnight guests and space for meetings. The Steering Committee for a Clubhouse for Elkhart County participated in a 2-day training event here in May 2009. |
